Choking is one of the leading causes of emergency cases in children. This is a life-threatening situation that needs to be addressed immediately. If the child has lost consciousness, has no pulse and is not breathing, it is necessary to do CPR. CPR in children has a different algorithm compared to adult CPR. Child CPR class will help you know just how to properly perform CPR in children. It is important that before you do so, you have removed the foreign object that caused the child to choke.
